"The Best Start is an Early Start."

At Starting Early, Air Park we want to ensure that all of our students have access to books and other reading materials. As a result we have implemented the “Starting Early Mobile Library”. All the students have an opportunity to browse through the books and make a selection to take home for a few days and then return them to our library. The students have made library cards and this allows them to mirror a library experience. The children are so excited when the library cart rolls in to their classroom

We encourage you to read with your child every day. Reading provides children with the opportunities to practice the sounds of language, hear different kinds of rhyming patterns and learn and use new words. Reading is also a wonderful activity to do at the end of the day; right before bedtime. A bedtime reading routine is an excellent way to make reading a part of your child’s day.
