On an annual basis, DDI pays tribute to their employees who have provided years of service as a member of the DDI family, but along with their longevity comes a special level of dedication to their co-workers and most importantly the children that we support on a daily basis.

This year, the event was held on Tuesday, November 29^th, 2011 from 7:00pm-10:00pm at the Hyatt Regency in Hauppauge. The Children’s Residential Program had several staff members receive awards for their years of service and would like to recognize the following staff for their years of service.

Staff that were awarded for five years of service were: Community Instructor Ms. Dina Ahmed; Community Instructor Ms. Karolina Ciurleo; RN Mrs. Paulette Ferraiole; Assistant Manager Ms. Assunta(Sue) Magliaro; Community Instructor Mr. Jonathan McBride; Instructional Manager Mr. Levon McMullen and Assistant Residence Manager Mr. Sidney Soriano.

Staff that were awarded for ten years of service were: Medical Support Assistant Mr. Stuart Lui; Speech Instructor Ms. Monique Oyer; Medical Support Assistant Ms. Noemi Rivera and Residential Housekeeping Manager Mrs. Kathy Rider.

The Children’s Residential Program also had a staff member who received an award for twenty years of service, our Director Mrs. Linda Eisman-Cadel.
