Family and Friends Fund

The family and friends members are donors who choose to contribute between $100 and $1,000 annually over five years to support the operating cost of DDI’s educational programs. Donors are recognized through annual publications and receive invitations to educational and social events so that members can get to know one another and learn first hand how their generosity is helping DDI achieve its service mission and goals.

Memorials

Gifts of any amount are appreciated and very often families choOse to set up a fund in memory of a loved ones passing. The Foundation staff earmark all contributions sent to the appropriate fund with recognition sent to the donors, as well as to the family of the deceased.

Honorary Gifts

Many people like to contribute to DDI in honor of someone who is close to them or has made an impact on their lives. For DDI families, this could be a contribution made in honor of a teacher who has supported their child or for a family of an adult, a direct care worker who is providing ongoing support to a member of their family who takes part in one of our day habilitation or lives in one of our homes.

Annual Appeal

The annual appeal provides unrestricted funds to support all of DDI’s programs and services. Several mailings are sent out each year to all parents, alumni and friends of DDI to thank them for their past donations and ask for their continued support.
