DDI provides a wide variety of services for children. There are educational programs and services for children ages birth through 21 in our Early Intervention, Preschool, School Age and Residential School programs.
To provide Respite, there are after-school services for eligible students at our largest sites as well as in–home respite and family reimbursement funds. DDI provides Outreach services through its Home and Community Services, offering direct services as well as parent training.
Additionally, through the Autism Inclusion Project and Training Institute, school district staff are trained in effective methods and techniques to better serve youngsters in district settings.
For Students requiring a 24-hour instruction, the Children’s Residential Program is currently located at our Hollywood Drive Campus, with an expansion project for the Huntington site. Together with the school, a coordinated residential school program is provided.
