WHAT: Anxiety is a common challenge for students with Asperger/autism and similar neurodiverse profiles, and without an appropriate plan in place, anxiety can significantly impact learning and education. AANE’s Summer 2020 Virtual Conference will highlight classroom support strategies for educators, best practices for home-school collaboration, and the insight from a parent and former student who have navigated school-based anxiety.

Given the current health climate and its subsequent impact on our student, family, and school communities, understanding how we can best support students and collaborate as a team to recognize and respond to student anxiety is more important than ever.
