Topic: Katie Gandy/Playground Communication Boards Project

Our guest tomorrow is Katie Gandy. Katie is a Board Member of the Howard County Public School System in Maryland and a member of the Howard County Autism Society. Katie spearheaded the Playground Communication Boards Project to foster inclusion and communication among neurotypical and children on the spectrum during playtime. 

Katie is also working on a follow-up initiative to create and donate a mobile version of the playground communication boards for library settings. This is an especially upbeat and encouraging chat. Listeners will surely want to tune in!
