Timmy's Team Raises Over 15K!

Congratulations and a big “THANK YOU” are in order for DDI Board Member, Kevin Long. His charity organization, "Timmy's Team," successfully raised over $15,000 for people with autism and other developmental disabilities this past Sunday by participating in the 2021 Philadelphia Marathon.

Kevin works tirelessly on and off the pavement to support DDI in honor of his son, Timmy, and all those who need to work a little harder than the rest of us.

In addition to being a longstanding board member, Kevin competes in marathons across the country to raise funds for the children and adults served by DDI as well as the staff dedicated to supporting them. Over the years, he has raised upwards of $135,000!

This year, Kevin set a goal of $10,000. Through his GoFundMe page, he raised an impressive $7,580, which he generously matched for a grand total of $15,160 on behalf of Timmy’s Team! The money raised will go toward DDI’s “Greatest Needs” fund, providing tools, technology, infrastructure and resources for the children and adults we care for.

Kevin, we are so proud of you for breaking your personal record with a time of 3:51:35.
