Last week, the Children’s Residential Program (CRP) hosted their annual 2018 Field Day event at the Huntington Campus.

On Friday, Farmingdale State College hosted the 2018 Talent Connection Job Expo. The event united Long Island’s top employers with differently-abled job seekers.

The Children’s Day Program has been accepted as a 2018-2019 National Association of Special Education Teachers (NASET) School of Excellence.

Celebrating Education Staff Appreciation Week 2018

Two Suffolk County students have been honored for their “exemplary volunteerism” by the U.S. Tennis Association’s Long Island Region.

The private, nonprofit organizations that provide pre-K programs for thousands of students with special needs are fast approaching a crisis point.


“The programs are life-transforming for these kids and yet the state is not funding them adequately and they’re threatening the whole system”, said Chris Treiber, associate executive director of the Interagency Council of Developmental Disabilities Agencies.
